For Macey

We are sending lots of love and light and POTP to little miss Macey.  She is the grandpeep of Deb over at 3 Little Pugs and here's what we know:

Good Friends:
We will be off the blog most of this week and will try to be back online on Friday at the latest. Tomorrow is our election here and then Mom is leaving to go with her daughter and son in law up to Iowa City to stay with Macey.  On Saturday we got some news that have worried our hearts, and we are hoping the multiple scans will prove them wrong.  I know all over blogville and the heavens prayers are being said for our friends and loved ones,  but we are wondering since such a brave little girl is involved if a few extra ones to travel above for her.

Last year Gussie tried to make a deal with his Santy Claus to make Tweedles better, and before we knew it she was on the road to recovery.  We are thinking we may need more than Santa Claus to make this happen.  I know each of you have our own belief's in the world and the powers from above, but we are wondering if at 8:20 AM on Wednesday if everyone on blogville could just stop for one moment and say a little prayer for Macey we would forever be in your gratitude.

I also am asking a second favor if you are comfortable with our request-- will you post it to your blog.  I will be reading them to Macey to help keep her distracted.  As soon as we know anything I will let one of you know by late Wednesday evening.

All our love and Friendship
Deb, Stella Rose, Margaret Mae, Angus Mac and Macey's Family

We missed the the 8:20 deadline, but believe that when it comes to POTP, every little bit helps!

Spread the love everyone!

A Rare Appearance

Here's Charlie Girl! In our new home she comes and snuggles with mum nearly every night at bedtime. Before, since the time I came to live with them, she would hide all day and dart out to the living room when I came to bed. It would seem, after 7 years, that she is coming around. We are very happy...mum says she's sorely missed their snuggle time.

Happy Howloween!

Happy Howloween, my friends! Ready for the ghoulies and ghosties?

I'm hanging here, waiting for treats!

P.S. Thanks for the kind words about Grampie!  We celebrated his birthday last week and lots of fun despite the circumstances!

Ahoy There!

Did you forget about us? We're still here-alive and (mostly) well. Mum and the fella took a trip to Texas and while they were gone, I stayed with Grammie.

Mum went to a football game and met a real live Glen of Imaal Terrier. She said she was very sweet and friendly.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I was tending to Grammie...see while mum was gone, we got the news that Grampie can't come home. He can't walk reliably and their house just isn't set up to accommodate a wheelchair. Grammie's havin a real ruff time trying to choose an assisted living place for them. And because Grammie's having a ruff time, mum's having a ruff time. I've been real busy trying to make sure everyone gets their walks and snuggles and all of that.

As you can see...it's exhausting!

Smile!

This picture is from earlier in the summertime, but I wanted to share my smile with y'all for Sugar's International Smile Day.

Here's another oldie but goodie of me and mum smiling...well...mum smiling at least - Bol

Happy Friday, furiends!

Rainy Days and Tuesdays

It's storming here...all day. A Scot can hardly even get out the door to take a wee without getting soaked!

So...mum has a non-scientific theory that her friend pointed out. We wanted to run it by y'all. So...the fella manages a restaurant. He smells like food. Most of the time. Which could explain why "bro time" has become so popular...mum says if she smelled like steak and wings I'd probably cuddle up to her too...what do you think? A sound theory?

Tis I, Super E!  Hi furiends!  Sorry I have been missing.  Mum and I have been keeping up with all of you and yours, but we haven't found time to keep up with us and ours.  It has been busy at our house.  Mum has been travelling back to her home town, Omaha, every weekend to see Grampie.  He's making some progress and is now able to walk down the hall and to the entry of his nursing home, using a walker.  It is Mum's hope that he'll be able to go home before his birthday - which is one month from today.  And she has a new little human pup nephew!  So she has been spending time with him too.

I'm afraid that I have hurt mum's feelings a bit recently.  See, we recently moved, and her fella came with us.  I've always been a fan of him.  But see, mum has noticed me snuggling up to him sometimes.  She points out that I have to be forced to snuggle with her and I think she is j-e-a-l-o-u-s... What can I say?  Sometimes a guy just needs another guy to hang with.  After all, she'll always be my mum!
