public service announcement

some sad news...my friend hazel, the olde english sheepdog, crossed over the bridge this weekend. she was just fine earlier in the day and then all of a sudden seemed to be in a lot of pain. her people rushed her to the vet and found out that her tummy got all twisted up and there was nothing they could do to help her get better. it's called bloat i think. so today's public service announcement is to make sure you and your peeps never take for granted the time we have together - take us on walkies when you don't feel up to it, let us sniff stuff even if you are in a hurry, give us lots of snuggles and treats...you never know what could happen. sorry to be such a downer, but we are kinda sad over here today...
