Run Free Sweet Sammy

Edgar's mum here: we are mourning the loss of our sweet Sammy Cat, Edgar's feline older brother.  He lived a long and loved life, but his health had declined so that I no longer felt he had much enjoyment in his days.  He was diagnosed with kidney insufficiency a couple of months ago and put on a special diet, which seemed to help at first.  However over the weekend he stopped eating and seemed to be getting worse. I decided today that it was time for Sammy to go to the Bridge. We will all miss him and can't wait to meet him at the Bridge.

  4. Good gravy-it's tough. We're still hurting over Casper (a Westie mix who was found wandering beside a California freeway and lived to be 18). We're not gonna mention Kenzie (a full Westie) (bridge time last October). In today's world, Sammy had it great for a lifetime. What about those who had their lives cut off because they were "unwanted and excess".? Celebrate Sammy.
